Capcom may have just pulled the plug on Megaman 3DS, but that doesn’t mean their relationship with Nintendo is changing in any way. In fact, It looks like Capcom might even have a few Wii U related announcements up their sleeves, following a recent suggestion from Capcom COO David Reeves.
Reeves made this suggestion in a recent interview with MEGamers, as he commented on Capcoms lack of E3 announcements for the Wii U.
Capcom haven’t announced anything officially on Wii U. I think they have done prototypes. There are only so many things you can get ready for E3 [laughs]. But they might show something at the Tokyo Games Show which is where Wii U is more focused on. I haven’t seen anything personally myself but since the companies are quite close, I am sure they must be looking at something.
The Tokyo game show will no doubt be an interesting time for third party content announcements for the Wii U, possibly even the 3DS. So could Capcom really have something up their sleeves?
