Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced the launch of Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. Developed by NetherRealm Studios; the same studio behind the Mortal Kombat series, the Ultimate Edition of this years popular fighting game brings a comprehensive version of the game, uniting the original game content as well as all the DLC that has been released for it.
The DLC characters include fan favourites Lobo, Batgirl, General Zod, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna, as well as Scorpion, a character from the Mortal Kombat world, as reimagined by Jim Lee, Co-Publisher at DC Entertainment. As well as this, 40 extra character skins and 60 ‘S.T.A.R Labs’ missions, originally only available as DLC.
The game will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita. There will also be a long awaited PC version as well as a PlayStation 4 version; which is optimised to include touch-pad functionality, video sharing and streaming over PSN. Currently, there is no word of a release on the Xbox One.
The Ultimate Edition will be available for £49.99 on PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360 & £29.99 for the PlayStation Vita and PC. It will be released on the 29th November 2013 on all formats, making the game one of many PlayStation 4 launch titles.
