New Trailer for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission

Bohemia Interactive have released a new trailer for the upcoming PC and Xbox 360 game Carrier Command: Gaea Mission which will be launched next week.

Based on the popular game from the 80′s, Carrier Command offers a mix of first and third person combat as shown in the trailer. The game’s map will consist of 33 unique islands and 6 distinct climatic zones. In Carrier Command, you get to control a futuristic military carrier holding multiple controllable and customizable units. Throughout the game you traverse the seas and try to destroy your adversary’s carrier and try to gain control of the archipelago on the planetoid Taurus.

It will feature a Single Player Campaign which will feature “a rich storyline” evolving around Lieutenant Myrik, a member of a special United Earth Coalition taskforce that seeks to defeat the Asian Pacific Alliance. There is also a mode which allows players to play a game similar to the original 1988 game titled “strategy game” which also allows you to set parameters such as enemy strength which can determine the length and difficulty of the match.
