Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Other Titles Get Potential Release Leaked?
An anticipated game arrival date from GameStop may reveal the release date of the highly anticipated Tomb Raider Reboot. The latest addition to GameStop’s list is expected to arrive December 13th. The list also reveals SD and LE versions of various up and coming releases, as well as other dates such as Final Fantasy XIII-2.
With little released about Final Fantasy XIII-2 at present it would be interesting to see the game launched then, and could suggest Square Enix’s E3 line-up this year as a focus on Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Versus, aswell as their Eidos title Tomb Raider.
Whilst this in indeed an anticipated list, GameStop list have been pretty close, if not on the day in the past. Equally some of the dates on the list are miles off currently expected ones like with ME3. The source is however adamant that Square Enix have confirmed this with GameStop via email. If this is the case we could be looking at a game of the year. So with this and the recent flux of magazine exclusives, could we be seeing a release confirmation soon? Image below.
UPDATE:
We came across this post on GamersMint that reveals key line-up dates for up and coming Square Enix titles. Whilst Tomb Raider is not present, Final Fantasy 13 is slated for a Winter release in North America and Europe, and a 2011 release in Japan. This could link in with the January release for North America leaked in the GameStop document. Image below:
