Worms Collection Out This Autumn For PS3 & Xbox 360

Mastertronic announced today that “Worms Collection” will be wriggling it’s way to stores on August 31st for Xbox 360 and September 7th for PS3. News that will surely make fans of the classic series rejoice.

The Worms Collection will provide ports of 3 Worms games spanning 15 years of the series. The games that will be ported are; Worms, Worms 2 Armageddon and Worms Ultimate Mayhem in which all will also be remastered into lovely High Definition.

For those who may not know what the Worms series is, it’s a strategy/arcade action game where two teams of Worms are at war and are trying to kill each other. You take control of one team and using turn based combat, attempt to kill all the opposing Worms before they kill you. There is a wide variety of weapons to use from the Pistol to the Holy Hand Grenade (My personal favourite) which yells “HALLELUJAH!” before exploding and killing any Worm in it’s radius.
